About this item The Fossil Townsman automatic watch draws inspiration from vintage designs, with a refined black case that houses an amber crystal lens and a see-through skeleton dial. This 44mm case watch features a 22mm band width and a durable hardened mineral crystal lens to resist scratches. The watch is equipped with an accurate automatic movement and has an analog display. The round black stainless steel case complements the brown see-through skeleton dial and accents. The genuine leather band in brown comes with a secure adjustable buckle closure for a customized fit, and is interchangeable with all 22mm Fossil watch straps. The watch is water resistant up to 50m (165ft), making it wearable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering. However, it is not suitable for diving or snorkeling (5 ATM).

An automatic, or self-winding, watch is a mechanical timepiece that does not require a battery, as it is wound automatically from natural motion. If the watch has stopped, it can be restarted by rotating the crown clockwise approximately 40 times.
